First login

The first login is a short checklist, not a wall of settings. GrowthOS confirms your identity, applies the role and seat an admin set for you (or the defaults for a self-signup), and drops you on your workspace Home.

If you signed up yourself, you land as the workspace Owner and see the full onboarding wizard, including the option to jump straight into the Golden path. If you accepted an invite, you land with whatever role and seat (Planner or Viewer) the inviting Admin chose.

Some workspaces require approval before granting access. In that case, first login ends on an access-pending screen instead of Home, and you receive access once an Owner or Admin approves your request.

  • Verify your email and set a password (or continue with your chosen sign-in method).
  • See your assigned role and seat type on first entry.
  • Start the in-app onboarding checklist that mirrors the Golden path.
  • Set your display name and avatar in Profile & preferences.
  • Enable two-factor authentication right away for extra security.
  • Immediately after accepting an invite or completing sign-up.
  • When re-onboarding after your account was reset or re-invited.
  • When training a new hire on what to expect in their first session.
  • A confirmed invite email or completed sign-up form.
  • Access to the inbox used to sign up, in case email verification is required.
  • Sign-in: growthos.salesshuru.com
  • After sign-in you land on workspace Home; Profile & preferences is under the account menu.
  1. Open the invite email or sign-up confirmation and follow the link.
  2. Verify your email address if prompted.
  3. Set a password, or finish whichever sign-in method you chose.
  4. Land on workspace Home; note the role and seat shown in the account menu.
  5. Open the onboarding checklist if it appears and step through it.
  6. Update your display name and avatar in Profile & preferences.
  7. Enable two-factor authentication from Security settings.
  8. Head to the Golden path guide to start your first real workflow.
  • You can see workspace Home and at least one project (or a clear empty state with a create action).
  • Your profile name and avatar are set correctly.
  • You know your role and seat type without having to ask an Admin.
  • Turn on two-factor authentication during first login rather than postponing it.
  • If you land on an access-pending screen, message your Admin directly rather than retrying sign-in repeatedly.
  • Use the in-app onboarding checklist even if you feel confident; it surfaces shortcuts you might miss otherwise.
  • Retrying sign-in many times when the real blocker is a pending access approval.
  • Ignoring the seat and role shown at first login, then being confused later about locked actions.
  • Skipping two-factor authentication setup and revisiting it only after a security prompt.
